Gonzales begins his first season as the women's tennis coach in 2017 after serving as an assistant in 2016 for both teams. He will continue to be an assistant men's coach.
Gonzales was a top-ranked USTA Norcal Junior from 1990-1996. In 1996, Adrian graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco. He played No. 1 varsity singles for St. Ignatius in 1995 and 1996 and led St. Ignatius to two WCAL team championships (1994 and 1996). He has a B.A. in Communication Studies from San Francisco State University and a M.S. in Leadership Studies from Northeastern University (Boston, MA).
Adrian worked as the Boys' Head Tennis Coach (JV) at St. Ignatius and Girls' Assistant Varsity Tennis Coach at Mercy Burlingame from 2013-2014. In 2015, Adrian worked with ATP and WTA professionals at two different private bay area tennis academies.
