Erezo Leaves As 3-Point Leader
Tricia Erezo edged out teammate Maya Austin for the school-record with 165 three-pointers.
Austin and Erezo leave the program as the two most prolific three-point shooters in school history, as Erezo set the record with 165 career three-pointers and Austin was second with 164. Erezo led the state with 4.5 three-pointers per game in 2019-20, while Austin's 3.0 three-pointers a game was eighth.
Austin, a sophomore, averaged 16.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game, missing the final two and a half games of the season due to injury. In her two-year career, Austin averaged 16.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. The 900 total points finished ranked sixth all-time in Saints history as she is one of only 10 Saints players to average 16 points per game or more in a career. She also hit 31 percent from beyond the arc in her career.
Erezo twice hit a single-game record for three-pointers in 2019-20. She had 10 in November and then 11 in January to give her 125 for the season. She also averaged 15.4 points a game this year. She hit 36 percent from beyond the arc in 2019-20 and 34.7 percent from three in her career (165-for-475). She finished her career averaging 10.3 points per game. This is her second honorable mention honor.
